If you use Windows XP or Windows Vista then here is a tips that you use to decrease the special effects on your computer in order to increase your computer performance. It's quick and simple. Windows XP: - Right-Click on your My Computer icon.
- Select Properties
- Then click on the Advance tab
- In the Performance section there is a button Settings. Click on it.
- In the box that appears there is a white box with alot of options with check marks in them.
- Uncheck the following items:
- Animate Windows when minimizing and maximizing
- Fade of slide menus into view
- Fade of slide tool tips into view
- Fade out menu items after clicking
Once you are done with removing the check marks from the above check boxes click OK and OK again. Done! Windows Vista: - Right-Click on your Computer icon.
- Select Properties
- Then click on the Advance System Settings link. A new window will appear.
- In the Performance section there is a button Settings. Click on it.
- In the box that appears there is a white box with alot of options with check marks in them.
- Uncheck the following items:
- Animate Windows when minimizing and maximizing
- Fade of slide menus into view
- Fade of slide tool tips into view
- Fade out menu items after clicking
Once you are done with removing the check marks from the above check boxes click OK and OK again. Done!
