If you use Windows XP or Windows Vista then here is a tips that you use to decrease the special effects on your computer in order to increase your computer performance. It's quick and simple. 

 Windows XP:

  1. Right-Click on your My Computer icon.
  2. Select Properties
  3. Then click on the Advance tab
  4. In the Performance section there is a button Settings. Click on it.
  5. In the box that appears there is a white box with alot of options with check marks in them.
  6. Uncheck the following items:
  • Animate Windows when minimizing and maximizing
  • Fade of slide menus into view        
  • Fade of slide tool tips into view
  • Fade out menu items after clicking

Once you are done with removing the check marks from the above check boxes click OK and OK again. Done!

 

         Windows Vista:

  1. Right-Click on your Computer icon.
  2. Select Properties
  3. Then click on the Advance System Settings link. A new window will appear.
  4. In the Performance section there is a button Settings. Click on it.
  5. In the box that appears there is a white box with alot of options with check marks in them.
  6. Uncheck the following items:
  • Animate Windows when minimizing and maximizing
  • Fade of slide menus into view        
  • Fade of slide tool tips into view
  • Fade out menu items after clicking

Once you are done with removing the check marks from the above check boxes click OK and OK again. Done!
